The 2025 Cavie Cup is set to be an unforgettable weekend of golf, camaraderie, and celebration in Milwaukee. While the competition will be fierce on the course, the food and entertainment options off the course promise to be just as memorable. Here’s your guide to where and what to eat, as well as the best spots to raise a glass after the rounds.

Thursday – Arrival & Ian’s Pizza Night

Everyone is on their own for lunch on arrival day before our first round at Washington County Golf Course, with the first tee time scheduled for 1 PM. After the round, we’ll head to our Airbnbs and settle in before enjoying Ian’s Pizza for dinner.

Ian’s Pizza: A Milwaukee Staple

Ian’s Pizza is a beloved Wisconsin institution known for its creative, over-the-top pizza slices that push the boundaries of traditional flavors. Founded in Madison, Ian’s has made a name for itself in Milwaukee by offering a wide variety of unique pies, with their Mac ‘n’ Cheese Pizza being the undisputed fan favorite. Other notable creations include the BBQ Chicken & Ranch, Buffalo Chicken, and the Smokey the Bandit (featuring BBQ pork and pickles). Whether you’re grabbing a late-night slice or diving into a whole pie, Ian’s delivers a casual and delicious start to our trip.

Friday – Course Lunch & Dinner Options

Breakfast is on your own. The best options will likely be whatever you have in your Airbnb, grabbing something on the way to the course, or maybe even some leftover Ian’s from the night before. The first tee time is at 9 AM, and it’s about a 15-20 minute drive from our condos.

Lunch will be provided at the course between rounds. Once the restaurant finalizes its 2025 menu, we’ll share it with the group so you can pre-order and have your meal ready as you finish the morning round. This will be the last group-provided meal, so for dinner, everyone is on their own.
